Our Story
Ehrhart Vintage is named after my late great-grandfather, Joseph Ehrhart Stiles, who served in the U.S. Air Force for 32 years. Some of my favorite memories are visiting him, hearing his stories, and exploring places like the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Museum — experiences that inspired my love for nostalgia and old things with history behind them.
Today, Ehrhart Vintage is owned and curated by me, Lily. I source, style, photograph, and run most of the day-to-day parts of the shop, focusing on vintage pieces that feel timeless, personal, and worth carrying into another lifetime.
My husband Ryan is a huge part of the heart behind the business as well. He helps with the physical side of things, works on our collection of lighters, helps with the website, and is beside me at every market we do.
This shop is our way of honoring the people, stories, music, and memories that inspire us. Whether it reminds you of your grandparents’ house, an old record spinning in the garage, or a piece you didn’t know you were searching for, we hope you find something here that feels special.

Why Ehrhart?
Most people see the name Ehrhart paired with an airplane and assume it’s a reference to Amelia Earhart—although the names are actually spelled differently. Ehrhart is actually the middle name of my late great-grandfather, Joseph Ehrhart Stiles, whom I named the shop after.
One photo shown was taken when he first enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, while the other shows him later in his career, after rising through the ranks. The background shows his desk as it remained in his home. These photos and the pieces he surrounded himself with offer a small glimpse into the history and style that have always drawn me to vintage and continue to influence Ehrhart Vintage today.
